In recent years, my country's wind power industry has experienced rapid development, with both the capacity of individual wind turbines and the total installed capacity of wind farms continuing to expand. Operational safety, particularly fire risk prevention and control, has become a key area of concern for the industry. To effectively address fire hazards associated with wind turbine operation, several major energy companies, including Huaneng Group, Huadian Group, and the State Energy Group, are actively promoting safety upgrades and retrofits for their wind farms. Responding to the dense concentration of electrical equipment within wind turbine nacelles, high temperatures in certain areas, and the presence of flammable materials, these companies are actively introducing new, efficient and reliable firefighting technologies to comprehensively enhance the intrinsic safety of wind turbine equipment.

Against this backdrop, several large wind farms have selected the thermal aerosol automatic fire extinguishing system and its accompanying temperature-sensing magnetic generator starter developed and produced by Xiaoyiwei for safety upgrades of their wind turbines. This thermal aerosol fire extinguishing system utilizes advanced, high-efficiency aerosol fire extinguishing technology, rapidly releasing extinguishing agent at the initial stage of a fire, swiftly extinguishing the open flame and effectively suppressing re-ignition. This provides unmanned, intelligent, and all-weather protection for the wind turbine nacelle. Its accompanying temperature-sensitive magnetic generator starting device features a unique design. It requires no external power supply and relies solely on magnetic generation to generate a starting current when a preset temperature is reached. This highly responsive device ensures reliable activation even in the harsh environments of the wind turbine nacelle, such as high temperatures and electromagnetic interference. This significantly enhances the emergency response speed and reliability of the entire firefighting system.
This innovative firefighting solution has been successfully implemented in multiple wind farm projects under several leading energy companies. Practical operational results demonstrate that this solution significantly enhances the fire resistance of key wind turbine equipment, effectively reducing the probability and potential losses from fires caused by electrical failures and mechanical overheating, and providing a solid and reliable technical foundation for the long-term safe and stable operation of the wind farm.
